Uniform

Wearing the school uniform is a matter of pride. It brings about oneness amongst the children and responsibility in their attitude. To maintain uniformity of shades, design and material, parents are advised to buy the uniform and shoes for their wards, from the authorized vendor. Parents are requested to avoid buying oversized uniforms, because it does not look smart and becomes inconvenient for the child to move about freely.

Every child must carry a handkerchief. The onus of sending the child to school in neat, well-fitting and decent uniform lies with the parents.

All students are expected to wear the following school uniform:

  • Summer uniform is to be worn from April to October and winter uniform is to be worn from November to March every year.
  • All students to wear house uniforms on Saturday and Sports Uniform on Wednesday.

UNIFORM - NURSERY, LKG, UKG

Summer

Boys

  • Blue round neck T shirt and vest from inside.
  • Blue checked shorts
  • White socks with blue stripes
  • Black leather shoes velcro

Girls

  • Red checked tunics
  • White slip and black bloomers
  • White socks with red stripes
  • Black leather shoes velcro

Winter

Boys

  • Grey woolen tracksuit with a hood, dark green stripes and school monogram.
  • Full or half sleeve green round neck woolen T shirt
  • Black leather shoes with velcro and grey woolen socks with two bottle green stripes.

Girls

  • Grey woolen tracksuit with a hood and dark green stripes and school monogram.
  • Full or half sleeved green round neck woolen T shirt
  • Black leather shoes with velcro and grey woolen socks with two bottle green stripes.

UNIFORM - CLASSES I TO V

Summer

Boys

  • Half sleeve white shirt
  • White shorts with bottle green belt
  • White socks with two bottle green stripes
  • Black leather shoes with laces

Girls

  • Half sleeve shirt,White divided skirt with bottle green belt
  • White socks with two bottle green stripes
  • Black leather shoes with a single strap or buckle
  • Girls with long hair should wear bottle green ribbons. Fancy hair clips, scarves and gloves are strictly prohibited

Winter

Boys

  • Full sleeve white shirt
  • Grey woolen trousers with green tie and belt
  • Bottle green school blazer
  • Bottle green pullover with the school monogram and double white stripes around the V-neck, double stripes on the borders of the sleeves and on the border at the bottom
  • Grey woolen socks with two bottle green stripes and black leather shoes with laces

Girls

  • Full sleeve white shirt

  • Half sleeve white shirts with white divided skirts (1” above the knees) and bottle green belt
  • White socks with two bottle green stripes
  • Black leather shoes with buckle or single strap
  • White sports shoes for P.T. or games only
  • Girls with long hair should wear bottle green ribbons

Winter

Boys

  • Bottle green single-breasted blazer with school monogram
  • Bottle green pullover with the school monogram and double white stripes around the V-neck and double white stripes on the border of the sleeves and on the border at the bottom
  • White shirt with proper collar
  • Grey woolen trousers with dark green belt and tie
  • Black leather shoes with laces and grey socks with green stripes

Girls

  • Single breasted blazer with buttons on the opposite side with school monogram
  • Bottle green pullover with the school monogram and double white stripes around the V-neck and double white stripes on the borders of the sleeves and on the border at the bottom
  • White shirt with proper collar
  • Grey woolen trousers, single pleated and dark green belt and tie
  • Black leather shoes with buckle or straps and knee length grey woolen socks with green stripes

NOTE

  • For all students, boys and girls alike, proper footwear both in summer and winter is black shoes. Shoes of any other colour or kind, chappals, floaters or high heeled sandals are not permissible. Sports shoes may be worn only for P.T. or games.
  • Students’ Dress: Parents are advised to see that boys wear vests and underwear. Their shorts should not be too tight.
  • Girls should compulsorily wear a slip.
  • Grey woolen trousers, single pleated and dark green belt and tie
  • No student is allowed to attend any school function, in or outside the school without a school uniform.

Sports Uniform

  • White T shirt with green stripes and black shorts for boys and girls in summers with white sports shoes. Black track pants for girls Class VI onward.
  • White T shirt with green stripes and black shorts for boys and girls in summers with white sports shoes. Black track pants for girls Class VI onward.
  • Grey track suits with dark green stripes, green round neck woollen T-shirt and white sports shoes in winter.
  • Students selected for any school team in Cricket, BasketBall and Lawn Tennis etc. will be required to procure the dress for that particular game in addition to the dress mentioned above.

Ceremonial Uniform

  • White full-sleeve shirt with collar
  • White shorts (not more than 2 1/2 inches above the knees for Class I-V White trousers for Class VI-XI and White divided skirt (knee length) in (summer)
  • Grey woollen trousers (Winter)
  • Black shoes with laces for boys and Black shoes with buckle / single strap for girls
  • White socks with bottle green stripes (Summer), Grey socks with two bottle green stripes (winter)
  • Bottle green belt
  • School tie

Uniform Code

Boys must sport a neat look. Girls with short hair (above the collar) should wear hair bands. Hair longer than this should be tied back from the face. No jewellery, except for a wrist watch and a simple pair of earrings may be worn. Entry into school without uniform is not allowed even after school hours or on holidays. It is compulsory to wear the Sports white T-shirt on Wednesdays. On ceremonial occasions and school functions students will wear the Ceremonial Uniform.

Parents should ensure that their wards conform to the prescribed uniform code.

  • Every child must possess a sleeveless sweater and a blazer for winter uniform.
  • No child shall be allowed to enter school premises in casuals even if he / she is coming for an extra class / remedial class / PTM or any other purpose.
  • Students are not allowed to wear casuals to school on their birthdays.
  • House uniform is to be worn on specified days.
  • Only green caps, green turbans and mufflers permitted during severe winters
  • A child will be sent back if he / she is improperly dressed.
  • Children should be properly groomed in terms of haircut, shaving and trimmed nails.
  • Please note that students are not allowed to wear expensive branded shoes / sweaters to school.
  • Due care must be taken to put name tags on all uniform items. This will help recover them in case of loss or exchange during PE, SUPW, Yoga or practice sessions.
  • Boys: Hair must be cut short (except for Sikh students). Girls: Long hair must be tied.
